Alkaline protease for feed
Alkaline, a single enzyme preparation for feeding, which is fermented by advanced deep liquid technology and processed by unique post-treatment technology. High serine resistance endonuclease produced by Bacillus licheniformis (#2709), which gets wide range of pH application and raw material degradation ability. Hydrolyze peptide chains of protein molecules to produce polypeptides or amino acids, which has good degradation effect on antigenic protein, trypsin inhibitor, lectin, gliadin and other protein anti-nutritional factors. It is beneficial for the absorption and utilization of protein, reducing diarrhea rate, promoting the deficiency of animal endogenous enzyme, enhancing appetite, and promote the growth and development of animals, reducing feed cost, improving the performance of livestock and poultry production.
Function of Protein anti-nutritional factors
Protein anti-nutritional factors in feed mainly include protease inhibitor, soybean antigen protein (sensitized protein), lectin and gliadin, etc.
They directly or indirectly affect the digestion, absorption and utilization of nutrients in animal intestines in different ways. Even they affect animal health and performance.(Table 1)

Strong sensitization inhibits the activity of digestive enzymes and destroys the normal structure of the small intestine and shields the absorption of nutrients and reduces the available energy of feed, etc.
〔Alkaline protease function〕
Effective degradation of protein anti-nutritional factors improves animal growth performance and increases weight gaining and feed efficiency.
Reducing the content of ammonia nitrogen in intestinal digestibility. Effectively improving the intestinal morphology. Reducing the injury of intestinal epithelial cells. Reducing feed costs in maintaining the same performance of feed products.
Reducing the cost of feed in maintaining the performance of feed products unchanged.
Reducing the difference of different batches of raw materials and stabilizing feed quality.
Improving intestinal microecology, balancing intestinal flora, reducing diarrhea rate and improving disease resistance of animals.
Reducing fecal nitrogen excretion, improving barn air quality, reducing environmental pollution.
〔Alkaline protease features〕
Specificity
Alkaline protease has serine in its active center at pH6-11, which can hydrolyze peptide bonds, hydrolyze amide bonds, ester bonds, and the functions of ester and peptide transfer. Because of the specificity of the enzyme, it can only hydrolyze proteins, as shown in Fig.1.

Wide range of pH
Hydrolysis of complex macromolecular proteins into simple small molecular peptide chains or amino acids, in pH6.5 to 11.5, the range of action is broad and the duration is longer.
Alkaline protease has the highest activity at pH11 (Fig. 3).

Good temperature resistance
The optimum fermentation strain ensures high temperature resistance of Alkaline protease (Fig. 4).

Significant ability to enzymolize antigenic proteins
As the enzymatic hydrolysis time of alkaline protease increasing, the antigen inhibition rate of β -concomitant soy globulin is decreased significantly (FIG. 5).

Note: Lane MW is low molecular weight standard protein; Lane s is soy protein isolate, and lanes 1 ~ 8 are at 55 ℃ and pH8 in turn 0. Hydrolyze soybean protease hydrolyzed samples for 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50 minutes respectively under the condition of enzyme dosage of 1500 U / g.

Usage
Alkaline protease can be used alone or combined with other enzymes, depending on feed composition and purpose. The following are the methods used alone (200,000 U/g product as an example, Table 2) :

Add 1000~2000g to each ton of fermented feed directly, and mix with microbial agent to fermented feed.

u Add 0.1% - 0.3% (by feed weight) according to the crude protein content in the full price formula feed.

Note: Powdery enzymes need to be mixed at least twice in feed processing. They can be pre-mixed with vitamins and other trace components first, and then mixed with other feeds.
〔Product selection recommendations〕
Powder and granulating temperature less than 85 ℃ of granular material choose powder enzyme; It is recommended to use liquid enzyme after spraying for granular with granulation temperature higher than 85℃.
If there is no post-spraying equipment and alkaline protease needs to be used in granulating above 85℃, it is suggested to add an additional 20% to 50% safety margin to ensure the full play of product performance.
Alkaline protease can be added to diets of young animals and barley alone.
〔Packing, transportation and storage〕
Packing: The powder enzyme is packed in 20kg kraft paper bag.
Transportation: Protected from sun exposure and rain; Shall not be mixed with toxic and harmful and pollutants;
Storage: Stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place, and the shelf life of powder enzyme is 12 months.
